Agricultural Research Working Student

We are Klim, a Berlin-based clean-tech company revolutionizing climate protection by scaling regenerative agriculture in Germany and Europe. We have launched the world’s first digital platform for regenerative agriculture, which is already being utilized by thousands of farmers. By marketing the associated climate protection services to companies, primarily in the food industry, we provide financial compensation to farmers for their regenerative practices and offer high-quality advisory services. Supported by leading investors, including Atlantic Food Labs, Ananda Impact Ventures, and AgFunder, we are now expanding our team and seeking an an Agricultural Research Working Student (m/f/x) with experience to help us continually improve our digital product.

Tasks

As Agricultural Research Working Student, you will support Klim in the research of soil studies and the modeling of soil changes, as well as create a plant production database.

Your tasks include but aren't limited to:

• Literature and data research
• Data preparation and data analysis
• Collaboration in the development of MRV concepts

Requirements

• Academic background in agricultural sciences, soil science, environmental science or equivalent
• Experience in evaluating scientific studies in the agricultural sector
• Proficiency in literature research
• Skilled with database and statistical software tools such as R and proficiency with databases (such as excel)
• Patience, determination and an analytical mindset
• Fluency in English and German
