Our mission is to build smart and human centred cities for a sustainable future. In over 30 years of experience and a network of multiple companies specialised across the verticals planning, product, software and service, we focus on that mission.
In the digitised and connected world of the smart cities, differentiated software solutions are playing an increasingly important role, especially in the areas of mobility and parking. The technical basis for this is formed by intelligently networked applications and systems.
Tasks
- You design and develop further the system architecture and data model in relation to other products in our portfolio.
- You work closely with the Product Owner to define technical requirements for the development team.
- You moderate, evaluate, and analyse all technical risks (costs, time, effort) and change requests.
Requirements
- Experience – You have min 5 years experience as a Backend Developer (Java/Kotlin) in building & launching digital products or services, ideally in the topics of logistics and mobility.
- Methods – You have experience with Agile software development methodologies, and also advanced knowledge as a Technical Leader.
- Working Style – You're able to deal with complexity in a fast-moving environment and have experience working with internal and external stakeholders.
- Competencies – You facilitate management decision-making. In doing so, you feel confident to present your recommendations.
- Mindset – You are eager to discover new opportunities with a customer-centric & data-driven mindset to solve meaningful problems through software development. You use your skills, creativity and critical thinking to achieve project goals.
- Language – Beside being fluent in Java & Kotlin, you have fluent English skills, German or Polish would be a big plus
- Values – our values are: determination, responsibility & enthusiasm - we'd love to see that in you as well! Research shows that men already apply for jobs if they meet only 60% of the criteria on average, but women and marginalised groups only apply if they meet every point of the advertisement. So if you think you have what it takes, but don't necessarily meet all the requirements of the job posting, please apply anyway. We would like to know all the crucial factors but we forgot in the description above.
