ABOUT THE TEAM

We are on a mission to build world-class Operations for Trade Republic. Our Performance Management and Tooling team ensures that efficiency and customer satisfaction become a reality through automation and data. The team works on a wide range of projects from defining our general system architecture to optimisation of individual processes.

Our Performance team isn't here to maintain existing systems but to drive the development and management of world-class products from inception to delivery.

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING

• Work closely with Analytics Engineers from other departments and our Data Foundation team to improve our architecture (snowflake and dbt) for Operations
• Based on the architecture designed by you build, maintain and harmonize our data pipelines in Operations
• Advise on process design and support with building process automations in Airflow
• Define and implement KPI and Monitoring frameworks in Operations
• Become an advocate for data driven decision making in the department
• Collaborate in cross-functional teams and interact with internal stakeholders from all departments including Product/ Engineering, Operations, Legal/ Compliance, Customer Service
• Drive strategic decisions by independently collecting, preparing and analyzing information on internal and external processes and manage projects that are crucial for Trade Republic’s growth
• Further develop your data analysis, project management, communications, stakeholder management and leadership skills

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR

QUALIFICATIONS

• You have graduated from a top-tier university with a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree, ideally in Business Informatics or Computer Science.
• You have around 3-5 years of work experience in a fast-paced environment (high growth startup, leading management consulting firm or investment bank).
• You are fluent in English, both written and spoken.

ANALYTICAL SKILLS

• You have excellent attention to detail and enjoy working with data to support your decisions.
• You can break complex problems into smaller ones and are able to draw clear conclusions and formulate efficient action plans.
• You have solid understanding of relational databases and pipelining principles
• Experience across all stages of the data pipeline: ingestion, transformations, mart creation
• Experience with our tech stack is a bonus: S3/Snowflake/Airflow/Python/DBT

PROCESS SKILLS

• You develop guidelines and standard operating procedures for all business processes - your job is not done until it’s documented.
• You understand business requirements for internal processes and define and implement the required infrastructure to support automation.
• You always think user first.

TEAMWORK

• You have strong communication and collaboration skills.
• You keep your cool under pressure and interact confidently with stakeholders of all levels.
