Investment Manager (all genders)

Our client is one of the leading European investment companies. The investment focus is on attractive medium-sized companies in the DACH region with whom individual growth concepts are successfully implemented and market leaders are established.

Tasks

• You will work directly with the owners and management of our investments and learn from highly competent managers, first-class advisors, and experienced investment professionals. And you will build up an excellent network.
• In addition, you will have the opportunity to actively participate in the success of our portfolio companies through co-investments.
• Your activities as part of the investment team are varied. You will take responsibility and be responsible for all parts of the transactions:
• Sector analysis, screening of new investment opportunities, and analysis of business models.
• Modelling and evaluating investment opportunities and attractive target companies.
• Preparation of purchase bids/LOIs and contract negotiations

Requirements

• Outstanding academic degree from a reputable university or business school.
• 3-5 years of relevant transaction experience in private equity, management consulting, and/or investment banking
• Excellent analytical skills in terms of evaluating markets and business models
• Highest level of social competence, "hands-on" mentality, and modesty, both in dealing with external consultants as well as in the medium-sized company environment.
• It is important to you to work in a team with your positive attitude, your integrity, and your willingness.
• You are always open to new and better solutions and strive for continuous development.
• You also show great commitment in your free time, and you set yourself high goals.
• Business fluent in German and English
