Aufgaben

As a Head of Product Engineering, you will lead the development of a set of tools and products essential for the success of our platform, ensuring a seamless and effective experience for all users. More so - you are building and managing the organization to be successful. You are focussing on the Engineering Part and join forces with your corresponding Head of Product. This position reports to a Director of Product Engineering.

Your tasks – this is what awaits you in detail

• You are responsible for the success of one of our areas, overseeing 3-5 teams with approximately 15-25 engineers
• You shape the product and engineering vision for your area, aiming to create tools and products that resonate with our users, align with customer needs, and contribute to the success of our business
• You are setting up the right structure for the area to grow further
• You are leading your engineers through a team of engineering managers or directly
• You make sure your area is aligned with the company vision, mission and current objectives and key results
• You make sure that we leverage (new) technology within our product teams to build products customers love and work for the business
• You make sure we are continuously raising the engineering bar with experience and passion for software excellence
• You are responsible for keeping the right balance of time, budget and quality within the area
• You develop, monitor and own the relevant KPIs for the area (cost, SLAs, SLIs….)
• Contribute to our guidelines, policies, standards etc. to improve how we work

• You have built and shaped cross-functional product teams / organizations and bring a vast experience in engineering of scalable web applications and databases in modern environments
