Production Designer/Artworker

We’re on the lookout for a strong junior production designer for Wayfair who can help us producing assets on a bigger scale efficiently - while maintaining a high level of design.. The ideal candidate will have an online portfolio that is creative, current and shows potential for producing large amounts of content. A background in digital production is preferred. The role is based in the Wayfair Berlin offices - Monday to Thursday in office, Friday remote.

The role reports into a strong Promotional Design Lead, and will involve rolling out a high number of assets for onsite, digital media, social and more.

Your work will be seen by millions and contribute to the visual evolution of our brand. The role requires a skilled, meticulous, and motivated designer who can partner with both creatives and cross-functional partners. We’re looking for a true ‘team-player’, someone who feels comfortable in a production-focused role, and someone who isn’t afraid to contribute to a strong team of creatives!

Responsibilities

• Building out creative campaigns across Germany and the UK, producing assets for a variety of mediums and styles.
• Be a quick learner, who’s able to jump onto new projects and quickly deliver
• Be an organized team player, willing to pitch in to maintain efficient workflow
• Take approved concepts through final artwork to proof check and approval - adapting design visuals and artwork into specified layouts and other digital/print work
• Follow brand guidelines & standards closely, while using past learnings and data to enhance assets.
• Enjoy delivering on work on time and on brief.
• Have good communication skills and a willingness to learn
• Interpret needs, objectives, and direction from multiple sources to ensure design execution meet brand standards, business goals & customer expectations
• Help build a culture of open and constructive feedback, where everyone leaves their ego at the door and works together for the same goals
• Fluency in English. We speak English at work, but design for UK and German markets
• Ability to adapt design assets and pivot quickly
• Ability to multitask and work across several platforms and different campaigns at once
• Can do attitude and willing to test and learn and try new things.

Qualifications

• 1-3 years of experience
• Ability to work with cross-functional peers on multiple deadlines.
• An impeccable understanding of design, color, aesthetics, and typography principles.
• Understanding of Social Media and Digital platforms and design aesthetics.
• Ability to prioritize and manage work, adhering to project timelines.
• The ability to produce quality work under tight deadlines is a must.
• Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, Sketch proficiency would be a plus.
• An affinity for current industry developments, design trends, and technologies
