Supplier Acquisition & Onboarding at Wayfair is responsible for increasing Wayfair’s revenue by identifying, approaching and onboarding new suppliers. The role provides a mix of sales, business analysis and strategy design and implementation. We achieve our goals through meticulous planning, process improvement and execution focus.

What You'll Do

• Work within a dynamic, motivated and driven team based in Berlin - own your categories regarding acquisition and onboarding and contribute to the company’s ambitious growth targets
• Contact suppliers to pitch the opportunity of partnering with Wayfair
• Cultivate business relationships, and create solutions as you build your lead pipeline
• Negotiate optimal supplier agreements to drive mutually beneficial business relationships with new suppliers
• Attend trade shows and supplier meetings
• Establishment and maintenance of effective professional relationships to gain trust, buy-in, and respect with business partners
• Use data to analyze and interpret your categories’ and suppliers’ landscape
• Competitor and market trend knowledge to make strategic acquisition decisions
• Adapt quickly to change and with a positive spirit

What You'll Need

• You have completed a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree
• You are fluent in English & German (min. C1), written and spoken
• You have at least 1 year of professional experience in sales or eCommerce and a proven track record of reaching or exceeding your targets
• You have demonstrated success in building business relationships with internal and external stakeholders
• You have previously demonstrated the ability to lead successful commercial and contractual negotiations
• You have an entrepreneurial mindset with hands-on commercial experience
• You are comfortable in a technology-driven, numbers-oriented business environment
• You have demonstrated ability to work within a fast-paced and rapidly changing environment
• You have a strong process orientation and have an efficient and self-organized way of working
