As the super-platform for non-professional soccer in Europe, we bring pro-level experiences (news, data, gamification) to the mega-community of +190 million footballers and soccer fans.
We are a startup founded in 2021 in Cologne - the team includes 30 smart and 'hungry' members working on Prematch from our offices in Cologne & Berlin (Marketing & Business team) and remotely from all over Europe (Tech & Product team). On top we have support from successful investors who run the business at Amazon, DAZN & ESL.

Main information
- Remote option: you decide - 100% remote (Germany or EU-wide), top office in Cologne/Berlin or a combination of both
- Start: February 2024
- Scope: 40 hours (full time)

Your mission
- Develop delightful new features from the first idea and concept to roadmap planning, implementation, testing, release, and monitoring. These features will change the way millions of people experience amateur football
- Build features in a maintainable and tested way to create delightful user experiences
- Help the team grow our user base: at Prematch, growth and product are the same thing. The reason why? They both need to delight our users, and serve the same goal: make every player feel like a pro
- Release frequently with continuous builds, testing, and direct team feedback
What do you need
- You have enough experience to be “fluent” in building apps without being stuck on technical implementation
- Your code happens like clockwork which lets you focus on the problem you’re solving and how users will feel when interacting with it
- You are experienced in building Flutter applications, ideally with knowledge on how to work with Flutter Bloc, Freezed, GetIt and Firebase services
- You have the right quality mindset! QA is not just unit tests, E2E or manual testing: You use those on a regular basis, but you also know how to find the weak spot in a product process that end up in degrading the experience for users, and suggest improvements to raise the bar
- Debugging and optimizing performance hold no secrets for you. You know how to use your tools, and can optimize anything to load fast
- You measure what you ship, and learn from it. You are familiar with setting-up analytics, while respecting people's privacy
