Your primary activities are…

• Ensure Quality Policy and Food Safety standards compliance from suppliers to stores (incl. supply chain)
• Drive the Key Performance Indicators related to Quality and Food Safety in Germany
• Lead the crisis management in case of blockage, recall or withdraw with the crisis team
• Be part of the validation process for new product and new supplier (shelf-life, labeling, allergens, etc.)
• Create, manage and keep up to date all the products specifications
• Manage product and packaging quality complaints and follow-up corrective actions
• Conduct external audits in each third-party warehouses and follow-up corrective actions to solve issues
• Manage the microbiological analysis with the external lab and the third party warehouses
• Follow-up the QC program by testing the product quality in store according to the sampling plan
• Follow regulation changes and updates and communicate with the appropriate department
• Ensure quality and food safety guidelines for our stores together with Operations
• Support Operations team to manage customer complaints related to hygiene and food safety
• Be the main contact with local authorities on quality and food safety topics
• Be the main quality contact with Procurement, Supply Chain, Operations, Training & Legal
• Drive the quality topics for projects and ensure the continuous improvement of processes and tools
• Create Quality and Food Safety Culture within the other departments

You are an excellent match if you…

• Have a specific degree or a comparable qualification on Food Quality, Food Sciences or Food Safety (bachelor or more)
• Have minimum 5 years of professional experience in a similar position in the food industry or in a QSR company
• Your knowledges on food quality and food safety are up to date: GFSI certifications, German and EU regulation, labeling approval, HACCP, VACCP, microbiology
• Own Microsoft Office software (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint, etc.)
• Speak fluent German and English and have the ability to speak and write in public
• Are characterized by project management methodology and enjoy taking over the cross-functional management of operational teams
• Demonstrate pedagogy to ensure Quality Policy is respected
• Ability to work in a multi-cultural team and with different core businesses
• Are characterized by negotiating skills, persuasiveness and a hands-on mentality
• Have a dynamic, precise, curious and proactive way of working
