THE ROLE

We are searching for our next Chief People Officer (CPO) based in Berlin to develop and execute our people strategies, ensuring we have the right talent, culture, and systems in place to support our long term goals. As part of our Executive Management Team (EMT) the ideal candidate brings proven in-depth experience as well as a passion to guide, lead, and inspire a whole organisation.

As CPO at Zattoo you are responsible for a team of 20+ skilled and motivated people experts split into five teams covering all aspects of People Operations, Talent Acquisition, Learning & Development, Agile Practice, Workplace & Onsite IT. Together with your leadership team you will work towards common goals aligned with our business strategy.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

• Own and develop our People Strategy to guide and inspire us during our transformation journey
• Develop our data driven approach to strategic decision making
• Together with our agile team, lead the application of agile methodology and leadership within your unit and the whole organisation
• Empower your leads to take ownership for their areas whilst aligning with each other and our business goals
• Along with the EMT, lead the development of both our culture, and our approach to change management, across the whole organisation
• Foster a culture of inclusivity and continuous improvement while personally being a role model for the values that underpin our company
• Represent Zattoo as an employer of choice at external events, panels, or expert talks
• Stay up to date with all trends, innovations, and best practices in the people field, while delivering the right initiatives for Zattoo

WHAT YOU'LL BRING

• Proven in-depth People Operations experience ideally within scale-up or transforming technology companies
• Leadership experience, guiding and structuring cross functional teams in an agile organisation
• Track record of building and guiding successful people teams which are seen as a trusted and reliable partner within the company
• A big-picture strategic mind, combined with the ability to translate strategies into concrete tactics and actions
• Enthusiasm to embrace change, bringing teams with you
• Exceptional communication skills where you treat each employee with respect no matter the level in the organisation
• Open minded personality with the skill to quickly build relationships
• Flexibility to travel to our HQ in Zurich, and the potential to be onsite in our Berlin office at least 2 days per week
• Fluency in English and preferably German
