ABOUT THE TEAM

The Business Operations department is in charge of running the bank. We take care of Trade Republic's business process management and ensure that operations run smoothly. The alignment of our processes with the company's strategic goals, designing and implementing scaling process architectures as well as establishing efficient process measurement systems are at the core of our mission.
Our scope covers a broad range of banking as well as business operations topics beginning from Market Operations and Securities Services to Cash & Customer Operations and AFC Operations.

WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING

• Investigate cases for suspicious activity and report relevant behaviour to authorities
• Advise colleagues on AML/AFC/CTF matters
• Respond to enquiries from authorities or ad-hoc requests from our Compliance team
• Monitor quality and performance of case handling and ensure timely and compliant processing
• Analyse effectiveness and efficiency of our processes and drive their continuous advancement in enhancement initiatives and in strategic projects

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR

• Bachelor’s degree in business management or comparable degree/field
• Professional background with multiple years of relevant experience in the field of anti-financial crime, risk and/or compliance
• Self-driven personality with a “hands-on” approach and outstanding analytical skills with SQL knowledge
• A quick understanding of new subjects and a willingness to learn
• Able to perform well under pressure, handle several different projects and responsibilities simultaneously with ease
• Fluent in at least German and English
• Based in Berlin or willingness to relocate
