We are an international team of 45 employees from 22 different nations. As a signatory of the "Diversity Charter", we live diversity and are looking for a motivated actuary (m/f/d) to support us in our office in the city center. We always have a good atmosphere with music, drinks and our office dog Hans.
Tasks
- International Health Insurance pricing for individual and group clients based on different health cover plans
- Review of trends via results of loss-ratio of the different portfolios
- Review of renewal terms for groups and individual portfolios
- Support financial reporting with loss ratio and iBNR info
- Participating in management activities; working closely with other functions (including Finance, Products and Client Markets) and being a key member of the market cross-functional team
Requirements
- Excellent knowledge of health pricing and analysis with a preference to expat insurance;
- Knowledge of actuarial modelling and data analytical software
- Ability to use sound actuarial judgment in a commercial environment
- Good understanding of relevant actuarial best practices
- Organization, prioritization and planning skills. Teamwork - able to build working relationships across technical disciplines, and work effectively across the teams
- Strong communication skills, including being capable of presenting results to/discussing results with internal interested parties and senior stakeholders.
