Power Business Intelligence (BI) Developer - Remote

Data Systems Analysts, Inc. is searching for a Power BI Developer in our Enterprise Services Group Business Unit. This position requires a DOD Secret Clearance. This Power BI Developer will work as part of a team that develops and delivers solutions to the government customer, PEO EIS MilTech Solutions.
 
DSA is in search of an exceptionally skilled Power BI Developer possessing an active secret clearance, to become part of our team in Aberdeen, MD or work remotely. Travel is required to Aberdeen, MD for select meetings. Position can be fully remote, preference to candidates in commuting distance to APG. MilTech Contract Core Hours 0900 - 1500 ET and 8 hours per day Monday - Friday
 
This role provides Power BI Developer support to a dynamic organization supporting the Army. DSA has had this contract 20+ years as either the prime or the sub. The government customer team works in partnership with the DSA team and subcontractors to provide a cohesive support model to a varied customer base. Required Qualifications

• Active DoD Secret Security Clearance
• CompTIA Security+ certification
• Computing Environment (CE) certification is desired upon hire and required within 3 months of hire (Ex: Microsoft Power BI certification)
• Experience with M365, Power BI, Dataverse
• Knowledge of the SharePoint App Model/Add In Model and SharePoint Framework (SPFx)
• Power Apps Development experience
• Minimum three years of professional experience supporting technology delivery to commercial or government clients
• Minimum three years of experience in data visualization or business intelligence

• Project management experience including requirements gathering, customer engagement, and formal documentation of efforts
• Microsoft Office skills especially PowerPoint
• Experience with Power BI and SharePoint in the US Army unclassified network or DoD environment highly desired
• Experience using project management tools e.g. MS Project and JIRA
• Understanding of agile and waterfall software development models
• Experience with MS Power Suite, including Power Apps and Power Automate

• Power BI solution development
• Power BI Premium Workspace management
• Data model development
• Power Apps and Power Automate solution development
• Alignment of SharePoint Online, M365, SharePoint and other solutions to data model
• Building data environment to support existing and emerging data visualization and metrics requirements
• Working with customers to define and document requirements
• Stakeholder communications including formal and informal presentations
• Develop data visualization solutions
• Define and communicate technical project plans, roadmaps, and schedules
• Creation of dashboards/Business Intelligence (BI) based on key performance indicators and customer requirements
• Data optimization
• User training, provisioning, and management of solutions created
• Acquire and manage Power BI Premium Capacity workspaces
• Develop and share training and reference materials
