Data Center Site Lead

As we continue to grow, we are seeking a dynamic and experienced Data Center Facilities Technician to join our team and drive our relationships with hyperscale clients to new heights.

Wage: $50/hr

Shift: M-F 07:00 - 15:00

Data Center Site Lead:

The Data Center Operations Manager oversees site services, logistics, and deployment in accordance with client directive. This role serves as the primary operational contact for clients, vendors, and carriers, ensuring effective communication and issue resolution. Key responsibilities include managing work orders, responding to incidents, coordinating access for contractors, and monitoring service provider performance. The manager supports quality standards, implements operational metrics, and balances workloads across shifts. Additionally, the role involves documentation compliance, timesheet management, project support, and a commitment to continuous improvement. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership and communication skills, with a focus on delivering exceptional data center operations.

Responsibilities:

• Produce weekly reports

• Support Operations/ Area Manager in finance and budget related activities

• -Leads a high preforming individual contributors and their ongoing talent development

• Empowers a culture of safety, security, compliance, and transparency in all aspects of datacenter activities

• Demonstrate commitment to customer service for both coworkers and customers

• Create effective presentations and communicate with both internal and external customers

• Establishes direct reports accountabilities and 100% completion of required onboarding and subsequent training

• Establishes direct reports accountabilities and 100% adherence towards processes, policies, and procedures

• 100% completion of performance evaluations and performance management documentation

• Collaborates with organizational alignment / professional goal setting development, and establishes engagement cadence with 100% direct reports

• -100% completion of required Talent LMS based training courses as assigned

• 100% adherence to Salute Mission Critical safety standards and best practices

Qualifications:

• Education and certification background dependent on SOW/SLA needs

• Minimum 3-5 years of experience within SOW/SLA

• Experience with planning, organizing, and motivating high-performance teams

• Experience drafting SOP’s and MOP’s in technical and non- technical formats

• Demonstrated commitment to customer service for both coworkers and customers

• Proficiency in Microsoft 365 suite of tools

• Possess valid drivers license for work related travel, if required

PREFERRED:

Military experience – but not required

• Possess analytical, critical thinking, and complex problem – solving skills

• Strong management, leadership, and interpersonal skills

• Excellent written and oral communication skills

• Ability to create effective presentations and communicate with both internal and external customers

• Data Center experience

• Microsoft 365 experience

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

Ability to Lift over 50lbs • Ability to bend and kneel for extended periods of time • Ability to climb ladders and access compact spaces. Color perception is necessary to perform certain critical aspects of the job • May be required to work day, evening or night shifts, weekends and holidays.
