The Cloud Operations Manager is responsible for managing a team of support professionals with skills and experience capable of handling issues unique to the Greenway Secure Cloud (GSC) environment.  The Cloud Operations Manager will be the focal point to bridge the products support teams with the cloud operations teams. This position operates as part of the Greenway Secure Cloud team within IT. With an emphasis on security, reliability, overall service improvements and growth, the Cloud Operations Manager will use experience to develop creative solutions and innovations to our Secure Cloud environment. The Cloud Operations Manager will be responsible managing the team that runs day-to-day operations for Greenway Secure Cloud.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

• Upskilling New Hires
• Coordinating Efficiency Projects
• Running day-to-day operations for the Greenway Secure Cloud
• Primary Liaison between other departments and Cloud Operations teams
• Create and implement curriculum for new hire training
• Lead projects, develop plans and timelines, monitor progress
• Facilitate meetings, follow up as needed, direct and coordinate activities
• Regularly communicate expectations, next steps, achievements, and issues
• Promote the adoption of Infrastructure as Code and automation practices

Education and Experience

• AAS in Health Care or IT Field required in lieu of a BA/BS
• High school diploma/GED required
• BA/BS in Computer Science or related field preferred
• Seven (7) + years of work experience in an IT field may substitute for a degree
• Four (4) years of experience in either product support or cloud infrastructure support
• One (1) to four (4) years as a supervisor/lead within an IT department preferred

Skills, Knowledge, and Abilities

• Knowledge of and experience with several core technologies, including AWS cloud systems, server operating systems (Windows and Linux), Configuration Management (Puppet, Chef, Ansible), Orchestration tools (vRealize, Terraform), Nutanix, Cisco, and Palo Alto
• Demonstrated ability to lead highly skilled teams in the delivery of technology solutions to align with priority business goals
• Project Management experience
• General knowledge of MS SQL Server infrastructure
• Troubleshooting techniques
• Training experience
• Experience describing technical issues to non-technical executive level
• Ability to think creatively to solve complex problems
• Ability to work as a member of a team
• Experience leading a team
• Strong customer service skills
• Strong written and verbal communication skills

Work Environment/Physical Demands

• This position is primarily sedentary and requires the associate to be seated for the majority of the workday
• Ability to sit and regularly type on a keyboard for most of the workday
• Requires the ability to observe a computer screen for long periods of time, as well as incoming and outgoing communications via computer
• Must be able to listen and speak clearly to customers and other associates

This means you will be expected to work on-site at the corporate office for part of the week and remotely for the remainder.
