Prepare patients for scanning.
Determine appropriate type and dose of contrast to be administered.
Provide accurate explanations and instructions.
Perform venipuncture, IV patency and maintenance procedures according to established guidelines.
Monitor the patient's physical condition for any adverse reactions during the procedure.
Perform any and all other duties as assigned.

Requirements

A minimum of 3 years' experience in CT scan.
High School Diploma or GED required.
Active and Current State License-Radiology Technologist.
Experienced CT tech who is also able to navigate x-ray independently required.

Preferred:

Associate degree of Radiology preferred.
