You will be joining a game team that is working on a new game, striving to top the charts of the casual puzzle genre in coming years!
We are looking for an expert developer with a strong background of tools development and working with QA automation to join our team and take ownership of developing tools that aid in manual and automated testing and development of the game. You will work closely alongside the wider development team and be an integral part of the team, helping the team implement new features faster with higher quality.
This role cannot be fully remote, but we offer a relocation package to Helsinki.
You will have impact and fun at work by doing:
- Design and implementation of tools for manual and automated testing of game features
- Evaluating technical feasibility, identifying risks and providing time estimates of own tasks
- Taking ownership of documenting, code quality and usability of developed tooling
- Working actively on helping the team achieve project targets
- Mentoring less expert members in the game team
- Supporting development team in reaching better product quality
- Improving processes, tools and team work
Experience and skills we are looking for:
- Solid experience working in the mobile gaming industry
- Very good programming skills (especially C#)
- Proficient with game development and testing tools (Unity and test automation tools)
- Good knowledge of software development practices
- Good understanding of mobile platforms and hardware
- Proficient in agile development methods
- Proficient with configuration and content management tools (AB testing etc)
- Proficient with crash / error logs and reporting tools
- Proficient with continuous integration systems (ideally Jenkins)
