We are excited to share that we’re looking for an experienced Marketing Specialist, Licensing, to join our flock in Espoo. You’ll have a big impact on supporting marketing approvals for licensees around the world and manage the Angry Birds e-commerce program. You’ll give brand introductions to consumer product licensees globally, and support in creating marketing & sales materials. You’ll also review marketing materials and plans from the Angry Birds Consumer Products (CP) & Location Based Entertainment (LBE) licensees on a global scale.
This is a cross-functional role that works collaboratively across the entire licensing/ transmedia team. In addition, this role works collaboratively with the Angry Birds’ global licensing agent IMG Licensing and across our entire network of licensees. You’ll be able to leave your print on consumer productsand bring Angry Birds to consumers' minds across the globe. You’ll get the chance to join a dynamic environment supported by other licensing professionals.
You will have impact and fun at work by doing:
- Supporting with marketing approvals for licensees around the world for consumer products and location based entertainment licensees
- Coordinating support to key licensees’ marketing campaigns with PR, social media and games teams
- Managing and developing of Angry Birds e-commerce program, with management of the key partners (e.g. Merch by Amazon & Fabacus)
- Providing marketing and brand intro presentations for new licensees globally
- Supporting trade media advertising (planning ads and editorials)
- Coordinating Angry Birds mascots around the world
- Supporting with Rovio internal product orders
- Supporting with creating & developing training & sales materials
Experience and skills we are looking for:
- Solid experience in marketing/project management in an international business environment
- Experience in coordinating both offline and online marketing campaigns
- Experience in e-commerce
- Excellent English communication and presentation skills
- Ability to manage several projects at a time and adapt to changing priorities
- A visual eye for reviewing marketing materials
- Preferably experience in licensing
The position is a one year, fixed-term employment, with a possibility of extension. Unfortunately, we are not able to provide relocation for this role.
