Title: Journeyman Electrician
Location: Lethbridge, AB T1H 6P3, Canada
Shift: 1^st Shift (Monday-Friday)
Duration: 0-12+ Months

Duties:
Troubleshoot electrical equipment to diagnose problems and determine necessary repairs.
Install and repair pneumatic instrumentation, electronic instrumentation, analyzers -high voltage power distribution, lighting, electrical motor controls.
Adhere to high standards of productivity, quality, and safe work practices for assigned work.
Maintain excellent housekeeping practices throughout the Site.
Communicate to senior mechanic deficiencies in equipment and/or repair information for future corrective actions.
Assist in training of Electrical/utility mechanics as directed.
Learn and maintain computer skills to support Company programs.
Work closely with Operations Technicians, Mechanical technicians, and engineers, etc.
Assist with maintenance programs, which include electrical spare parts inventory and purchase, routine checks, routine electrical equipment shutdown, maintaining accurate records, SAP/R3 data entry and maintenance planning.
Know the environmental standards of the plant and the impact maintenance can have on meeting these standards.
Work safely and watch out for others safety.
Have a working knowledge NEC and ISA standards.
Attend training and verify understanding of material.
Overtime and call out coverage for plant site

Qualification:
Associate degree in electrical technology and at least 5 years relevant experience preferably in a minerals processing plant environment or 10 years relevant experience preferably in an industrial plant environment.
Thorough knowledge and demonstrated ability to install and repair pneumatic instrumentation, electronic instrumentation, high voltage power distribution, lighting, electrical motor controls, and PLC systems. Willingness to work shift schedules, holidays, weekends, and overtime as required.
Must comply with all safety and environmental standards. •
