Job Summary

The Customer Support Specialist should be a great brand ambassador who is willing to go the extra mile to ensure satisfaction one customer at a time. Candidates should have excellent time management skills and be passionate about customer service and self-improvement. The Customer Support Specialist will report to the Customer Service Sales Manager and will have direct interaction with other department leaders.

Job Responsibilities

  • Create Sales Orders, Purchase Orders, and billing documents daily
  • Collaborates with Logistics Manager to ensure inbound and outbound shipment schedules are confirmed with customers and suppliers
  • Interprets customer requests, monitors performance and delivery
  • Frequently liaise with Sales and supply team to stay abreast and proactive with customer feedback and resolve any customer-related concerns in a professional manner
  • Assist the Accounting department in collection efforts
  • Assures key departmental objectives are completed in a timely manner
  • Recommends and implements strategies for process, quality, or service improvements

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

  • HS diploma or equivalent
  • 2+ years of experience in customer service; lubricants or chemical industry a plus but not required
  • Strong collaborative skills and the ability to work in a team
  • Attention to detail
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal with an emphasis on building strong relationships
  • Confident at troubleshooting and conflict resolution
  • The ability to respond appropriately under pressure
  • Demonstrated ability to work on multiple tasks and achieve aggressive deadlines
  • Willingness to learn and search for creative solutions
