Social Workers

• Best Value Justification: The award will be made to the vendor(s) who provide the best overall value based on availability and the qualifications of the candidate. Multiple awards may be made.
• The position is held at Hudson Mental Health Unit, which is part of the Office of Mental Health(OMH). OMH provides mental health services to forensic patients. Candidate will be required to submit of TB testing and recent flu shot. May have contact with incarcerated individuals. Candidate will be also subject to CNYPC orientation.
• Approx. 40 hours/week(M-F). Exact shift/hours to be discussed during interview.
• Contract staff would mainly be working weekdays and assisting in providing therapeutic services to patients in a primary therapist role to include individual therapy and the completion of mental health assessments and documentation (Core History, Suicide Assessments/risk assessments, Weekly/Monthly Progress Notes, Treatment Plans, Discharge Plans), according to policy and procedure. Group facilitation will also be part of the expectations.
• Positions may be renewed for up to two years.
