Job Description: As a Financial Analyst supporting the F-35 Joint Program office, you will be trusted to review and analyze data to provide accurate forecasts of overall program performance to F-35 leadership.
Responsibilities:
- Providing financial and/or accounting support to a Program Management Office (PMO) within the F-35 JSF program using multiple financial management systems such as CCaRS and Navy ERP.
- Assisting program/project personnel with financial tracking, budget formulation, execution and overall financial support.
- Providing support with a variety of management activities, corporate initiatives, special projects, and data calls which could have significant impact on the organization and its business operations.
- Tracking and managing financial and other business transactions that cite USAF, DoN, Partner country, or Foreign Military Sales (FMS) customer funding. Providing transaction and reconciliation support in managing and executing funding, which includes building structures, cost planning, creating several types of purchase requisitions, viewing sales orders, and using various reports to track commitments, obligations and expenditures and perform reconciliation of funds.
- Utilizing F-35 financial systems and other tools to perform budget and financial analysis, such as: Obligations, Expenditure forecasting, Monitoring, and Reporting.
- Maintaining timely, accurate, and transparent funds management, funds status reporting, and funds control. Tracking future and present appropriations. Providing comparison of commitments, obligations, and expenditures to approve spend plan.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited College or University
- Three (3) years of business or finance experience, with at least one (1) of those years preferably supporting major DoD program or other industry equivalent.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office products; primarily Excel, PowerPoint, and Project.
- Knowledge of commonly used budgetary methods, practices, procedures, regulations, policies, and processes to formulate, justify, and execute assigned budget in support of the mission, structure, processes, and programs of assigned organizations
- Demonstrated experience in identifying and applying critical analysis to budgetary problems and developing alternative solutions
- SECRET Clearance is required
