Working towards this goal, Volue has become a leading technology supplier and enabler of the green transition, helping energy companies simplify and optimize everyday operations. </p><p>We are now looking for a <strong>Power Grid Specialist</strong> for our Porvoo office who can help us to continuously improve Volue’s ability to provide value to customers in line with the Volue mission. </p><p><strong>What You Will Be Doing to Make a Difference:</strong></p><ul><li>Provide services for customers power stations, HV grids, and wind fams.</li><li>Remotely monitor the customer's production facilities, diagnose faults and alarms.</li><li>Communicate with the customer's maintenance team, report disturbances, and coordinate with relevant stakeholders.</li><li>Engage daily with customers, authorities, and other involved parties.</li><li>Develop interruption plans based on customer needs.</li><li>Create written instructions and train control room staff.</li></ul><p><strong>What You Need to Succeed:</strong></p><ul><li>Degree in Engineering (preferably in Energy or Electrical Power Engineering).</li><li>Strong ability to see both the big picture and the finer details.</li><li>The ability to work efficiently under pressure.</li><li>A systematic and organized approach to tasks.</li><li>Excellent written and verbal communication skills.</li><li>Team-oriented and collaborative mindset.</li><li>Strong problem-solving abilities.</li><li>Self-motivated, with the ability to independently absorb information and continuously learn on the job.</li><li>Required language skills: Finnish and English; Swedish is a plus.</li></ul><p><strong>Additional Knowledge That Will Help You Succeed:</strong><br></p><ul><li>Knowledge of switchgears and power transmission systems.</li><li>Experience with SCADA systems.</li><li>Basic understanding of energy markets.</li><li>Familiarity with wind power production technologies.</li><li>Knowledge of power grid protection principles.</li><li>Understanding of reserve markets.</li></ul><p><strong>Reasons to join Volue team and what we offer:</strong></p><ul><li>Large degree of influence in shaping & developing the role further</li><li>Great colleagues in one of Europe’s most exciting green tech companies with innovative and international work environment </li><li>Flexible working hours & competitive compensation package</li></ul><p>In Volue, we cherish each employee’s competence, ideas and personality.
