Responsibilities
- Develop and implement cost control strategies and procedures for projects.
- Prepare accurate and comprehensive cost estimates for projects.
- Monitor project expenses and track costs to ensure adherence to budgetary constraints.
- Analyze project costs and identify cost-saving opportunities.
- Collaborate with project teams and stakeholders to forecast and track costs.
- Prepare and present cost reports to management and clients.
- Evaluate and negotiate contracts with vendors and suppliers.
- Stay updated with industry trends and best practices in cost management.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
- Proven experience as a Cost Manager or similar role.
- In-depth knowledge of cost estimation, cost control, and project management principles.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Proficient in cost estimation software and tools.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
- Attention to detail and ability to work under pressure.
- Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
