Primary Job Responsibilities - Assist and oversee event strategy consisting of planning, implementation, and post-event logistics for in-person, virtual and hybrid third-party events
- Work collaboratively with external stakeholders and vendors
- Create and implement digital event experiences consisting of email campaigns, social media campaigns, event websites and virtual events
- Oversee event budget management and tracking Manage post-event metrics and reporting Ability or flexibility to work in a hybrid environment, both digital events and in-person events
- Manage all aspects of event fulfillment from contract negotiation to post-event follow up including budget, staffing, brand presence, on-site logistics, and lead generation activities
- Collaborate with stakeholders across the company to develop creative event marketing campaigns and plans that align with our overall team strategy and brand
- Work with cross-functional teams like product management, marketing, sales, and internal agency to ensure that event messaging, deliverables, post-event analysis, and tactics are delivered according to strategy
Required Skills- 3-5 years of experience in event planning and implementation
- Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, or a comparable degree
- Project management with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously consisting of various cross-functional teams and vendors
- Creative thinking with the ability to explore and implement a modern or unconventional approach to problem solving
- Outstanding problem solving, communication, and presentation skills Self-driven with the ability to perform well under pressure
- Ability to problem-solve in fast-changing and fluid situations
- Experience with planning and sponsoring large technical industry trade shows
- Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal skills
- Extremely detail-oriented with strong organizational and problem-solving skills
- Broad experience with marketing campaign tactics
- Self-starter, ability to work as a part of a team, and build relationships
- Familiarity with different marketing and social media software such as Salesforce, Eloqua, Tableau, Twitter, and Instagram is a plus
- Knowledge of open source software is a plus
