TITLE: Maintenance Mechanic - CNC
TYPE: Direct Hire

We are looking for a Maintenance Mechanic with experience maintaining CNC machinery to join our team.

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES

Problem-solve and fix electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and mechanical malfunctions on manual and CNC machining equipment.
Organize and oversee external technicians that are doing warranty work, installations, or repairs on the production equipment.
Prep and set-up production equipment by leveling, supplying, and moving utilities.
Organize and oversee rigging companies that are relocating and/or installing equipment in the plant.
Finalize documentation records for equipment repairs and requisitions for supplies and materials.
Read and comprehend equipment instructions and work orders to execute needed service and maintenance.
Organize and carry out the preventative maintenance program for the production equipment.
Prep and execute ball bar tests to determine the condition of the CNC machines and anticipate possible issues.
Carry out lubrication tasks on production equipment.
Use scissor lifts and forklifts to execute maintenance tasks.
Executes tasks and duties to upkeep the physical plant as needed.

QUALIFICATIONS

High School Diploma, G.E.D. or equivalent is required.
Advanced technical/vocational training in electrical and/or mechanical applications is preferred.
Expertise with a variety of powered industrial trucks.
At least 3-5 years of experience with a proven track record of proficiency in upkeeping and repairing production equipment.
At least 5-10 years CNC machine maintenance experience in a manufacturing plant or as a service engineer for a machine tool company.
Okuma and Mazak experience is a plus.
Must be able to work individually from ladder logic diagrams, prints, sketches, schematics, written, or oral instructions without technical guidance or supervision.
Must have proven professional characteristics, including integrity, strong drive, and the ambition and skill to work effectively as a part of several work teams.
Must have a working knowledge and the skill to utilize the concepts of Lean Manufacturing to reach continuous production improvements.
