We have something for everyone, from annual summer socials for the whole company, to departmental events, sports teams, walking challenges, book club and more!</p><p>We are looking for an apprentice to join our award-winning Business Recovery and Insolvency Department in Derby as an Apprentice Insolvency Administrator. You will work with our specialist team and help our clients from various sectors across the region.</p><p>Your role will involve assisting and supporting the team with a diverse range of corporate insolvency cases. You will also help the team advise new and existing clients on their financial situation and suggest solutions for their challenges.</p><p>This is a great opportunity for a motivated candidate to join a thriving team in our office in Derby.</p><p>The apprentice will have to take exams (AAT) to enhance their knowledge and advance their career prospects within the department and the firm. We provide complete study assistance for your AAT exams.</p><h3><strong>The important work you will be doing:</strong></h3><ul><li>Assisting in identifying prospective clients and preparing documentation</li><li>Assistance in drafting letters and reports to external stakeholders such as debtors, creditors and financial institutions.</li><li>Preparing documentation to facilitate payment of goods and services provided.</li><li>Depositing client funds.</li><li>Preparing payment requisition forms to generate payment of invoices.</li><li>Inputting data into specialist software to record case specific information such as creditor claims.</li><li>Attending client premises to retrieve books and records; and</li><li>General administrative duties comprising photocopying, filing, processing incoming and outgoing post, preparing refreshments for visitors / staff and dealing with telephone calls.</li></ul><h3>The skills and experience you will bring:<br></h3><ul><li>5 GCSEs grade C and above </li><li>3 A-levels grade C and above</li><li>Ideally work experience in a customer-facing role </li><li>Ideally a good understanding of Excel</li><li>Strong communication skills</li></ul><ul></ul><h3>Why PKF Smith Cooper?</h3><ul><li>Our company culture, built on our values – Engage, Empower and Excel – encourages initiative, personal growth, and collaboration.
