For over 15 years, we have been driven by a single goal: build a sustainable future for communities around the world. With sustainability and long-term thinking as guidance, we mobilize our engineering expertise to provide innovative solutions empowering communities today and ensure their resilience tomorrow.<br></p><h2><strong>About the position</strong></h2><p dir="ltr">In cooperation with other students and professionals in the field, you will support our construction projects, like <a href="https://www.ewb-swe.org/mkula-hospital">Mkula Hospital</a>. You will help with the design of the buildings, assessing the cost and the impact that it will generate. In discussion with the partner organization and the national board of EWB-SWE, you try to find the most optimal solution. Furthermore, we would like you to have a strong interest in international solidarity. Previous engagement with Engineers Without Borders Sweden or other organizations active in international solidarity is very meritorious but no requirement.<br></p><p dir="ltr">Start: dive in your journey with us as soon as possible</p><p dir="ltr">Period: preferably until the end of the academic year or longer</p><p dir="ltr">Location: remotely based; activities in Gothenburg are not mandatory but recommended, and worth it</p><p dir="ltr">Time commitment: at least 5-6h/week</p><p dir="ltr">Terms: volunteer position<br></p><h2><strong>Application and Contact</strong></h2><p>Interviews will be held continuously and the position will be assigned urgently.
