As the Chief Technology Officer (CTO), you will play a pivotal role in shaping and executing the technological vision of our company. You will be responsible for overseeing all technological developments, including the Gen AI engine, websites, and hybrid apps, while ensuring alignment with our strategic objectives and budgets. Additionally, you will be accountable for assessing the quality, timelines, and efficiency of our technological solutions, ensuring they meet industry standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Technology Strategy and Planning:
- Develop and implement a comprehensive technology strategy aligned with the company's objectives and growth plans.
- Collaborate with executive leadership to define technological requirements and prioritize initiatives.
- Identify emerging technologies and trends to drive innovation and maintain competitiveness.
Team Management and Vendor Selection: - Build and lead a high-performing technology team, including developers, engineers, and project managers.
- Determine optimal staffing levels and skill sets required for successful project execution.
- Select and manage external vendors and partners to supplement internal capabilities and ensure project success.
Technology Oversight: - Oversee all technological development initiatives, including the Gen AI engine, websites, and hybrid apps.
- Ensure that technological solutions are scalable, secure, and compliant with industry regulations.
- Monitor technological expenditure and budget allocation to maximize ROI and efficiency.
Quality Assurance and Compliance: - Establish and enforce quality standards and best practices for software development and deployment.
- Conduct regular assessments of technological solutions to evaluate performance, security, and usability.
- Ensure compliance with relevant regulatory requirements and industry standards.
Stakeholder Communication: - Communicate effectively with stakeholders, including executive leadership, board members, and external partners, to provide updates on technological initiatives and progress.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment between technological initiatives and business objectives.
Requirements
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field. MBA preferred.
- Proven experience in a senior technology leadership role, preferably in a startup or fast-paced environment.
- Strong technical expertise in software development, cloud computing, and emerging technologies.
- Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate teams.
- Strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities, with a track record of driving innovation and delivering results.
