Responsibilities:

Lead a team of Software developers, QA Engineers, SDETs
Hands on technical leader
Motivate the team towards innovative ways of product development, good engineering practises, test execution, effectiveness and automation
Guides team to continually improve on operation excellence, track and monitor and report the same to senior management
Working with product management and development teams to understand product vision, requirements, implementation
Understanding how all elements of the system software ecosystem work together and designing solutions, developing QA approaches that fit the overall strategy.
Overseeing the product development and execution of test plans and monitoring and reporting on project progress report.

Basic Qualifications and Skills:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or equivalent combination of technical education and experience

Atleast 10+ years of industry experience, including at least three years of hands-on development, a year of hands-on testing and preferably 3 years as leading or managing test teams
Experience in product development, web application and test automation

Ability to design solutions, write technical specifications, perform code reviews, troubleshooting, log analysis

Some experience on cross device solutions and willing to work on cross platform products.

Should be flexible to code in Windows, MAC and Android. M

Must have experience in C, C++, C++ 11, COM, Java.

PHP, MySQL knowledge for backend support is needed.

Knowledge of Linux

HTML 5 knowledge needed for UI development

Have conducted appraisals and guided team members to outline career development plans

Other Skills:

Insight into open source technologies
Conversant with Agile methodology
Able to maintain balance between management and team expectations and also be able to give reality check without getting into awkward situations
Excellent presentation skills
Good communication and project management skills
Able to handle multiple projects, prioritise as per business needs and multitask when needed
