About Togetherhood
Togetherhood is revolutionizing enrichment and education for children from preschool to high school. We are a fast-growing technology marketplace that makes it super simple for communities to create world class enrichment programs. We serve schools, community centers, residential communities and homeschooling communities. Our mission is to enable consistently outstanding enrichment so that everyone (regardless of financial circumstances) has the opportunity to become who they aspire to be. The company was founded by a repeat entrepreneur with a strong track record of success (two acquisitions, one IPO as Chief Product Officer at Farfetch).
What You’ll Do
As the Key Account Manager / Head of Account Management, you will own Togetherhood’s entire NY and NJ portfolio of partners (afterschool directors, PTA presidents, etc.) and your goal will be to maximize their experience on our marketplace. You will partner directly with our clients (with a focus on 6-figure accounts) and internal teams to ensure each partner is ultimately a promoter of our offering. This entails helping partners craft a diverse enrichment lineup, growing their use of the service in line with their business needs and addressing concerns with an ownership mindset. A successful candidate will be an experienced leader and seasoned account manager, passionate about education access and child enrichment, and able to align complex business needs with success on our platform. You will partner with our Sales, Talent and Operations functions to drive up the value of your accounts by ensuring each partner stays and grows along with Togetherhood each semester.
In this job, your primary areas of responsibility will be:
- Driving partner performance by managing day to day issues as they arise, advocating for the partner’s best interests and collaborating with the client to provide a dynamic enrichment program
- Influencing partners to deepen their partnership with Togetherhood via seasonal renewal cycles and QBRs
- Being an expert on our course catalog and making tailored recommendations to partners to improve their offering and their satisfaction with our service
- Visiting partner sites on a recurring cadence, along with other communication touchpoints, to understand gaps and maintain a strong relationship
- Working closely with Sales and other teams across the business to optimize your accounts
Who You Are
- You have at least 7 years professional experience in an account management role including 3+ years management experience, along with a Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent).
- You are committed to securing lasting satisfaction by understanding a partner's objectives and propelling product adoption.
- You are intrinsically motivated to establish connections with key stakeholders and decision makers like principals, PTA Presidents and community organization leaders.
- You are enthusiastic about fostering business growth and aiding in the attainment of targets. Hitting a goal makes you happy!
- You are guided by data-driven and consultative approaches when making decisions, and can leverage analytical tools like Excel, Asana and Hubspot to inform your approach.
- You are able to own account-related initiatives and drive them to completion, with an ability to navigate ambiguity and build scalable processes.
- You have deep experience managing 6-figure accounts.
Your Superpowers
- An on-the-fly problem solver. We are brainstorming to build an exceptional system within each client.
- Extremely hard working. We are a startup with the mentality that no job is too big or too small for us. You hustle because that’s just how you work.
- Calm and collected in the line of fire. On a day where everything that could go wrong has gone wrong, you find a way to stay positive.
- Passionate about growth. We have a bright future ahead, which depends on our team’s spirit, morale, and work ethic.
- Exceptionally good listener. You read people well. Your EQ is off the charts, and you have a unique, even uncanny ability to pick up on people's needs without them even saying it.
- Highly attentive to detail. You proofread every correspondence several times, and then another before it goes out. Your work is accurate, error-free, concise and conveys a deep understanding of the intricacies of our partner relationships.
- Curiosity! You love asking questions and follow up questions! But retain what you learn.
- Extraordinarily outgoing. You embrace meeting new people and are able to create real, fruitful relationships with a wide array of individuals.
- Entrepreneurial. You’re willing and excited to work within a high growth company with limited formal structure. You’re eager to test new things and seek continual improvement. You are a self-starter!
Base salary and annual bonus will be commensurate with experience.
