Could you be Incommunities new Change Delivery Manager? This is an exciting time to join us as we embark on our new 5 year Corporate Strategy. You will work closely with stakeholders across the business to understand our customer and colleague needs, using research and insight to develop and deliver the best experiences.  We are looking for a solution focused individual, who loves a challenge, isn't afraid of uncertainty and can demonstrate implementing various levels of change using a variety of methodologies to help us deliver on our 5 year ambitions.

We are a social housing landlord and one of the largest housing providers in the region with over 22,000 social and affordable homes, mainly in the Bradford district. We employ a talented workforce of nearly 1,000 people.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure that our customers’ needs are fundamental to decisions made in change initiatives
  • Identify risks and challenges to the delivery of business value taking appropriate action to minimise the impact
  • Develop professional capabilities that support an increased effectiveness of change across the business, often coaching others ‘on the job’ to enhance their skills and contribution
  • Support Project Owners and Sponsors in the realisation of the benefits of change
  • Build flexible and supportive relationships with teams across the business to ensure we break down silos and work better together
  • Work with teams to identify improvements in their ways of working, mapping processes and services end to end where required to drive consistency and efficiency
  • Work with Service Owners to help mature our service delivery and implement better ways of working
  • Facilitate regular planning cycles to ensure we prioritise the right things across all our programmes, balancing capability & resources and resolving constraints
  • Ensure all products and deliverables meet the expected quality and performance requirements
  • Work with our strategic communication lead to ensure we are communicating and involving colleagues within projects
  • Matrix management of various project teams within our strategic portfolio, helping project team members to size, prioritise, forecast and deliver strategic work
  • Work closely with our insights and impact team analysing improvement data and metrics to track progress and measure success of projects
  • Deliver targeted interventions where required to help develop the change maturity in the organisation for example training, guidance documents or coaching

About you

  • Have an appreciation/understanding of agile change delivery
  • The knowledge to foster an agile mindset and bring an iterative approach to the way we deliver work
  • Significant expertise in implementing change using the appropriate project methodology required (Agile, Lean, Waterfall etc.) knowing what works and how to adapt our context
  • Innovative and creative ideas

Requirements

  • Experience in leading and taking ownership for projects and change programmes
  • Strong knowledge of various change methodologies and the ability to objectively review how they may fit with different teams
  • Ability to identify, retrieve and interpret information from a variety of sources to produce reports to multiple audiences
  • Good analytical skills with the ability to analyse statistical data and present findings
  • Ability to communicate effectively and liaise with management of all levels
  • Scrum Master certification (Desirable)
  • APMP Qualification (Desirable)
