Position Summary: The Operations Support Specialist (OSS) is responsible for providing support to the RCO section by tracking and maintaining current program information on RSMs.

Duties and Responsibilities:  

• Communicate, coordinate, and liaise with disparate locations for collection of required information.

• Process information into mandated databases and tracking systems.

• Track casualty movement for visibility of additional support needs.

• Perform operational support activities to meet mission requirements.

• Produce informational products to meet government reporting or briefing needs.

• Perform general office and administrative support functions.

Required Skills and Abilities:

• Possess a current SECRET clearance

• Bachelor's degree in any field or an Associate's Degree in any field with 4 additional years of relevant experience

• 3 years of experience in Microsoft applications (specifically Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and Outlook calendar) and Adobe Acrobat

• Effective written and oral communications skills

Physical Demands and Work Environment:

While performing the duties of this position, the IC is regularly required to talk, listen, and write. The IC frequently is required to use foot/ankle motions, hands or fingers, handle or feel objects, tools, or controls. The employee is required to stand, walk, sit; and reach with hands and arms. The IC must occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this position include close vision, distance vision, and the ability to adjust focus. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.
