Research Assistant (HUBZone) - Part Time

This is a remote based, part time, 40 hours per month (about 10 hours per week) position, which allows for flexible hours, but some of the work will occur during business hours, generally in the form of meetings and communications that are related to the work.

Requirements:

Blue Sky Innovative Solutions is a rapidly growing company that provides both technical and business solutions to their government and private clients. To support this rapid growth, we have identified the need for a Research Assistant. We are seeking candidates that are adept and can sniff out helpful information, primarily through internet and other searches. Research topics will span a variety of disciplines including but not limited to: Competitors, Current and Past Contract Holders, Agencies supported by a contract, Laws, Registrations, Policies, Events, Charitable and Volunteer opportunities, etc.

Responsibilities Include:

• Conduct literature reviews to support projects and proposals

• Participate in the collection, analysis, and review of research and data

• Develop spreadsheets to organize and support project activities

• Analyze quantitative and qualitative research data and contribute to the reporting of findings

• Develop specific goals and plans to prioritize, organize, and accomplish work as required

• Self-motivated and a professional attitude

• Proficient in Microsoft Office software programs (e.g., Excel and Word) and comfortable with technology

• Excellent research and analytical skills. Ability to complete data searches on the internet, government/municipal sites, etc

Education:

Associates degree in Business, Marketing, Research, or equivalent practical experience.
