About the RoleThe Senior Accountant will be reporting to the Corporate Controller and is a key contributor to support accounting operations and prepare other ad hoc analysis is needed. This position will be responsible for performing general accounting, accounts payables, or payroll-related tasks, working with cross-functional teams, support teams, and implementing process improvements in a fast-paced environment.Key Responsibilities:- Support and adhere to a monthly close schedule by preparing accurate journal entries and completing reconciliation and analyses for various accounts timely.

- Assist with monthly management financial packages (with analysis) and other management reports as requested (this includes understanding and clearly articulating the financial results of the company and preparing balance sheet, income statement fluctuation)
- Manage account payable operations, including vendor invoices and payment processing.
- Coordinate with external auditors and provide required audit support
- Prepare and support tax PBC requests in various areas (including federal, state, and tax provisions for audit requirements)
- Work with cross-functional teams across the company to ensure proper support for the business unit.
- Work on ad-hoc requests as needed and directed by management
QualificationsRequired:- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or related field
- Strong understanding of US GAAP.
- 5-7 years of experience in US Accounting/Bookkeeping, with a proven track record of increasing responsibilities.
- Experience managing Accounts Payable (AP) operations.
- Advanced proficiency in Excel and Google Suite products (Sheets, Docs, Slides).
- Proven analytical and project management skills.
- Team player who can work/interact with various departments and levels on a daily basis, including senior management.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to manage conflicting priorities and deliver high-quality results.
- Highly self-motivated, detail-oriented, and able to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
Preferred:- Certified Public Accountant (CPA) license (PH or US)
- Familiarity with tax provisions and compliance processes in an audit environment.
- Hands-on experience with NetSuite
- Knowledge of clinical trial accounting
- Experience in Diagnostic or Life Science industries
Work Setup- Hybrid arrangement: 1-2 days onsite and 3-4 days remote. A fully remote setup may be considered based on performance.
- Schedule: 9:00 PM to 6:00 AM (MNL Time), with flexibility for adjustments, as long as there is a minimum of 6 hours overlap with California (Pacific Time) business hours.
