Job description:
Demonstrates skills to perform basic activities in own job
Understands how the assigned duties integrate with others in the team
Depends on direct supervision to accomplish assigned tasks; accountable for developing own self to enhance contribution
Uses existing procedures to solve straightforward problems; has limited opportunity to exercise discretion
Responsible for the accuracy of own work
Duties are clearly defined, and methods and tasks are described in detail
Recognizes opportunities to provide good customer service and demonstrates courtesy in all interactions
Performs data entry for multiple indices for the purpose of reportable external test results and external newborn screens
Takes initiative on ways to improve data collection and entry methodology.
Helps to compile and analyze data for improvement of diagnostic testing methodology for patients
Exposure to genetic and metabolic disease Preferred
Exposure to and knowledge of metabolic test results Preferred
High school diploma or equivalent Required
Four-year Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience Preferred
