What is Pricing Analyst?

Expert Pricing is a role within the Pricing team within the Marketing department in the Commercial Division. The team is responsible for facilitating the B2B and B2C segments in end-to-end pricing processes; conduct competitive analysis for industry performance insights and to assess performance.

The role reports directly to the Head of Pricing and is part of a six-member team.

The main priorities of the team include growing the B2C business portfolio ensuring market competitiveness and monitoring all business trends to ensure the company objectives are achieved.

The ideal candidate will play a role in Pricing by devising and implementing strategy for managing customer life cycle and safeguarding Revenues (for special projects) of different consumer segments. The candidate should have sound analytical skills and should be great at stakeholders’ management to effectively manage the tasks allotted.

What does Pricing Analyst do?

• Work with Head of Pricing and other team members for development of Base Management Strategy of different segments for special projects in line with business objectives
• As owner of Base management strategy for that specific project, act as a bridge between different teams (Pricing, Segments, Tech, CVM, etc) for smooth implementation of the aligned strategy.
• Ability to build strong relationships with other teams: CVM, Pricing, Finance, Product development, Regional & CC Teams to ensure operational excellence in executing overall strategy
• Monitor relevant KPI’s including subscribers, traffic, revenue etc. and identify gaps for corrective actions.
• Review and propose changes based on impacts for all initiatives and propose optimal way forward

Requirements

What are we looking for and what does it require to be Pricing Analyst?

Experience and Educational Requirements:

• Business graduate from a recognized institute with at least 2 years of experience (preferred)

Soft skills and technical skills required

• Strong Analytical skills
• Microsoft Office is an absolute requirement; the candidate must be extremely proficient with Excel and PowerPoint. Good to have Power BI / Tableau skills
• Have abilities to problem identification, and resolution skills, and creative/consumer insights abilities.
• Have strong interpersonal and communication skills to motivate and work closely with a diverse, cross-functional team of professionals
