Duties:

Ensure that the operation of Global IT Infrastructure Services (GIS) within assigned global services and vendors is in accordance with corporate and regulatory standards
Ensure the assessment, facilitation and verification of quality standards within assigned global services and vendors is achieved in accordance with the requirements of Client as well as with any other external legislative or regulatory requirements
Ensure that the compliance status of assigned global services and vendors is tracked and managed on a global level
Support implementation of Information Governance and Management (IGM)
Contribute to maximize the business value of global / local and vendor related initiatives, ensuring effective alignment of IT investment with business requirement

MAJOR ACTIVITIES

Prepare, or review and approve major system documentation to ensure consistency with quality standards and quality of deliverables.
Coordinates documentation, testing, and change management activities to ensure compliance with business and regulatory needs.
Conduct Quality Reviews to evaluate if processes and deliverables fulfill the requirements for quality, to uncover errors or deficiencies in processes and deliverables, and to identify strengths and opportunities for improvement.
Ensure proper implementation of global standards, policies and systems platforms
Interface with business and IT partners to ensure Client practices are aligned with regulatory expectations and industry best practices
Drive continuous improvement of the quality system to meet and sustain compliance with internal and external regulatory requirements.
Follow up resolution of identified quality exposures and escalation to line management if critical situations are not resolved in due course
Support the GIS SOX IT process for assigned SOX relevant global services and vendors in alignment with the Client SOX IT process
Support GIS risk management process
Support the development of management reports related to risks and effectiveness of the IT Infrastructure services
Ensure key strategic IT Infrastructure services are delivered and implemented adhering to the Client IT quality standards

Skills:

Client experience
ICE certified (Bronze and Silver preferred)
Pharma industry experience
Infrastructure hardware qualification experience (V-model, IT hardware and Operations)
Software validation experience
Virtualization technology knowledge helpful
Education:
Bachelor's Degree
Professional Certifications (e.g. CISA, CRISC, CISSP, PMP) helpful
