ASSEMBLY MECHANIC

Summary: To assist in the assembly of various aerospace systems, the mechanic will also assist in the assembly of sheet metal products.
Purpose: To support the manufacture of its core products to maintain the highest quality standards to FAA/AS9100 requirements and customer specifications.
Essential functions:
Assist the assembly tech in the assembly of various aerospace systems.
Supports and practices continual improvement of the Dynamo Aviation QMS.
Must be a detail-oriented highly organized team player. Listens to and follows instructions and guidance from the technician.
Must be a team player and highly motivated.
Must be mechanically dexterous and able to use hand tools.
Must observe and adhere to all safety standards
Must be to communicate to technicians and management on job-related issues.
Participate in problem-solving and continuous improvement efforts
Must provide hand tools of the trade.
Maintains required logs and reports.
Regular attendance is required as scheduled.
May perform other duties as required.
Minimum qualifications:
The candidate must be personable, and team-oriented, Candidate should be able to work with minimal supervision, act decisively, and have above-average communication skills. Must be detail-oriented.
Experience: 1 year in a manufacturing atmosphere is preferred.
Education: A minimum of a high school / GED is required.
Working conditions: Sitting, walking, and standing 10 hours a day, will use arms and fingers.
Day Shift: Scheduled 10 hours a day, four days a week.
Night Shift: Scheduled 8 hours a day, five days a week.
Able to lift 30 lbs. as required.
Overtime is frequent, upon request.
Success factors: Consistent personality, dependable nature, attention to detail, and willingness to learn are absolutely necessary. Good attendance is essential.
