Job Purpose
- Develop and maintain the company’s electronic payment
platform (EPP) in the form of a mobile app for IOS & Android, as
well as USSD and web based services. The platform will
interconnect with Mobile Network Operators (MNOs), switching
operators, banks etc.
- Provide real time and up to date I.T support services to the Office
and the Operations/ Technical team on the field.
Key Responsibilities
1. Electronic Payment Platform (EPP): Product Development and
Management.
- Supervision of the development of the EPP.
- Ongoing management of the EPP including maintenance,
upgrades etc.
- Engaging and liaising with external consultants as necessary to
ensure effective, seamless and bug free operation of the EPP.
- Working with marketing team to grow market share of the EPP
business across the country.
- Broad business development and Project management on Fintech
and ICT, beyond the e-payment platform and including potential
disruptive technology development that will lead to roll out of
market leading products & services.
2. IT Support
- Manage office networks, hardware and software.
- Develop, implement and ensure compliance with IT policies,
infrastructure and processes that efficiently support the
company's continued business operations and safeguard its
assets.
- Work with media/advertising consultants to implement strategies
on brand development, advertising and communications.
Job Knowledge, Skills and Experience:
- Operating Systems: Mac OSX & Windows.
- Candidate must have a minimum of 3 years cognate
experience in providing Web Based and Office I.T support
services.
- Proficiency in C++, MS Office Suite; Microsoft SharePoint, HTML,
3D Max, & Photoshop.
- Experience in developing and managing Apps.
- Knowledge of the Information Technology Infrastructure Library
(ITIL) principles and methodologies in IT helpdesk system is
required
Education:
Bachelor’s degree or its equivalent in computer science or
electrical electronics engineering is required.
