Position: Junior Data Scientist, Medicare

Reporting to: Analytics Department 

Compensation Target: $170K, uncapped bonus based off lift projects 

Location: This position is remote within the United States.

We are looking for a Junior Data Scientist

As a Junior Data Scientist, you will be instrumental in driving the performance operations of our top-priority projects. You will leverage data insights to identify opportunities, enhance real-time reporting, optimize user experiences, and address operational gaps across our various business funnels.

 

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute data-driven strategies to support business objectives.
• Collect, analyze, and interpret large datasets to identify trends and patterns.
• Build and maintain predictive models to inform decision-making.
• Create clear and compelling visualizations to communicate findings.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment and success.
• Own and drive data-focused projects from inception to completion.

 

To Thrive in this role, you should posses:

• Strong analytical skills with a passion for data
• Proficiency in SQL, Python, and R programming languages 
• Experience with data manipulation and analysis tools
• Experience of statistical modeling techniques and machine learning algorithms
• Excellent problem-solving and critical thinking skills
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• 3-5 years of experience in data analysis or a related field

 

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with cloud-based data platforms (Azure, AWS, GCP)
• Experience in lead generation or digital marketing analytics
• Knowledge of the Medicare healthcare industry
• Experience with A/B testing
