Echocardiography Technician - Registered Vascular Technician
Fredericksburg, Virginia

MUST:
Experience Echocardiography Technician
2 plus years of experience performing diagnostic ultrasound studies
Must be Virginia licensed as a Registered Vascular Technician and/or Echocardiography Technician
Must have experience working on EMR
Experience performing M-Mode, Stress Tests and two-dimensional echocardiograms
Experience preparing diagnostic reports for physicians
Charting information in EMR and entering demographics
Experience providing patient education

DUTIES:
The duties of the Electrocardiography Technician include but are not
Performs diagnostic ultrasound studies on patients including, but not limited to M-mode and two-dimensional echocardiograms and stress echocardiograms
Assist in coordinating patient care
Ensure equipment and supplies are available
Maintain log of patient data and stored images
Enter patients demographics and archive studies
Prepares diagnostic reports for physician review, interpretation, and signature
Provides patient instructions and answers questions relating to procedures
Alert physician to abnormal studies and assist with appropriate next steps
