Title: Administrative Assistant
Duties: Provide administrative and clerical support to the Attorneys in the Brooklyn Regional Office. Prepare, proofread and finalize memoranda, legal documents and correspondence in appropriate form, style, grammar and punctuation. Enter data in Silvercase, perform searches and maintain computer files. Schedule meetings, appointments, outreach events; maintain office calendar; keep staff apprised of meetings, court dates, outreach events; take minutes of meetings, important discussions and staff assignments. Generate basic correspondence. Open, review, read, date stamp and distribute mail. Answer phones, screen phone calls, and gather complaint information from walk-in consumers. Index and maintain office records and files. Perform administrative tasks including: Xeroxing, maintain law library, order supplies, order postage, and archive records. Make travel arrangements; process travel vouchers. Act as a liaison to other units and offices. Perform other duties as assigned.
Preferred Education: High School Diploma, Technical Degree/Certificate Program, Bachelors Degree

Employees that work in OAG offices located on NYS hospital grounds or within space leased by a NYS hospital must continue to follow any mask policies at that location. •
