Hours: Varied (Days/Evenings Shift), 1.0 FTE (80 Hours Per Pay Period)
The Radiologic Technologist performs quality diagnostic radiological exams on customers as ordered by Providers. Customers may be infants, adolescents, adults, and geriatrics. The Technologist may also perform other radiological procedures within scope of licensure, for example, EKG's and Dexa bone scans.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Performs accurate imaging exams as ordered by Physician/Provider and presents them for review.
Administers EKG's and presents results to Physician/Provider for review.
Applies critical thinking skills appropriately, recognizes emergent situations and responds appropriately.
Responsible for maintaining daily records and for maintaining the department in a neat and orderly manner.
Maintains accurate customer medical records, ensuring confidentiality of all medical records.
Utilizes imaging and EMR computer systems correctly.
Performs daily check of systems and appropriate documentation.
Performs daily/weekly/monthly/ appropriate quality control testing.
Interacts with Providers, co-workers, customers, and families in a professional manner.
Accepts other duties as assigned to promote the accomplishment of organizational goals.

Basic Qualifications:
Education:
High school graduate or equivalent required.
Graduate of an accredited program in Radiologic Technology.
Experience, Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
Previous clinic x-ray experience preferred.
Knowledge of medical terminology.
Ability to read, speak, write and understand English at a level appropriate to accomplish work assignment.
Critical thinking and good communication skills.
