Responsibilities
- Create intricate application features with Outsystems in cooperation with a technical lead in accordance with established best practice principles.
- Create adaptable data models and points of seamless connection with external systems in accordance with established best practice principles.
- Write tested, bug-free, and scalable code by adhering to best practices for web/mobile application design, Outsystems development, security, and tidy code.
- Execute unit tests, integration tests, and issue fixes.
- Be part of a self-organizing, highly productive team, and possess an agile mentality (knowledge of Scrum is a plus).
- Create innovative, process-streamlining technological solutions, reusable parts, and accelerators.
- Help programs, processes, and methodologies to get better.
- Work with other members of the development team and stakeholders to provide them with high-quality solutions that meet their business issues.
- Act as a mentor to more inexperienced team members by leading pair programming and code review sessions.
- Assist with production by responding to and resolving events within the specified Service Level Agreement (SLA) time frame.
- Obtain Outsystems certifications, preferably Associate Reactive.
Requirements
- The ability to translate effective, scalable solutions from an analysis of business requirements is required.
- Experience in the Agile development methodology is a requirement, and Scrum experience is a plus.
- Must be able to show that they have at least two years of expertise and know how to use Outsystems to construct quick, scalable, maintainable, secure, and high-quality digital solutions.
- Must be familiar with Lifetime Deployment/Administration & Maintenance, OutSystems Service Studio, OutSystems Integration Studio, OutSystems Platform Studio, and Service Center.
- Must be able to show comprehension of the Outsystems architecture and web application architecture.
- You should be at least somewhat familiar with how security and data protection are implemented.
- Needs to be aware of how data storage solutions are designed and implemented.
- Must be able to show that they are familiar with best practices for coding.
- The ability to debug both new and existing software is a need.
- Proficiency with web services, database modeling, and APIs is required.
- Possesses comprehensive SQL knowledge and relational database expertise.
- Be able to accept assignments to either the Application Support or Application Development Teams;
- Must be prepared to work irregular hours, including weekends, holidays, and US Eastern Time.
- Up until further notice, the candidate must work exclusively from home and have a reliable internet connection.
Ideally having:
- Technical documentation creation and upkeep experience
- Experience with mobile development
- Knowledge of Devops
