Maintenance Supervisor

The Maintenance Supervisor will be responsible for maintaining all West Tech properties in the region. The primary place of work will be St. Lucia, but at times there may be a need to travel to the other islands that we operate in or oversee work in those islands remotely. Ideally looking for a tradesman who can also do the work and be able to hire and supervise others depending on the size or complexity of the job at hand.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Manage maintenance workers: Hire, train, and supervise maintenance workers, contractors, and laborers
• Schedule maintenance: Set shift schedules and assign work
• Develop policies: Create maintenance policies and procedures
• Identify supplies: Identify tools, equipment, and supplies needed
• Perform maintenance: Perform maintenance work as needed
• Inspect properties: Lead safety inspections and evaluate properties
• Manage projects: Ensure projects stay on schedule and meet standards
• Report issues: Escalate issues to management and recommend solutions
• Maintain records: Maintain records and reports, and provide monthly maintenance reports
• Budget: Assist with maintenance budgeting and forecasting
