Bachelor's degree from an accredited college/university in Computer Science, Information Systems, or other related field, or four (4) years of equivalent work experience.
The Department requires the following experience, skills, and/or knowledge for this position:
1. PMP® Certification;
2. Five (5) or more years managing successful, large-scale projects that include multiple diverse teams;
3. Five (5) or more years utilizing project software such as Microsoft Project, Primavera, Jira, etc. to track and maintain projects;
4. Five (5) or more years utilizing Microsoft Suite products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.);
5. Five (5) or more years developing and maintaining detailed project plans based on work breakdown structures;
6. Five (5) or more years of experience with PMO methodologies and documentation;
7. Five (5) or more years with meeting facilitation and documentation;
8. Five (5) or more years creating and presenting internal and external status reports;
9. Five (5) or more years with Risk and Issue Management;
10. Experience with completing project deliverables within scope, schedule, costs, and quality constraints;
11. Ability to coordinate numerous project teams and effectively conduct the initiative to meet overall objectives;
12. Ability to provide effective communication and collaborative skills; and
13. Experience providing excellent leadership and negotiation skills.
NOTE: In addition to the above list, the selected Candidate must successfully complete a Level II Background Check.
The Department prefers the Candidate to have the following experience, skills, and/or knowledge for this position:
1. Certification in Agile or Scrum-based Project Management;
2. Information Technology Infrastructure Library (ITIL) Service Management Foundations Certified;
3. Experience managing large projects with a large, distributed user base;
4. Experience managing both waterfall and agile projects;
5. Experience with state government projects;
6. Experience managing and reporting projects in compliance with Rule 60GG-1 F.A.C.;
7. Experience working with technical programming teams;
8. Ability to demonstrate a take-charge, can-do attitude with the initiative to solve complex problems;
9. Strong communication skills to effectively communicate with diverse stakeholders;
10. Skills in negotiation and mediation;
11. Skills in facilitation and team building;
12. Knowledge of IT standards in a criminal justice environment;
13. Experience managing large projects with a large user base;
14. Experience managing vendor projects;
15. Knowledge in other IT areas such as programming, data analytics, etc.;
16. Team player attitude with a high-energy level and diligent work ethic; and
17. Ability to meet or exceed deadlines, thrive in a fast-paced environment, and organize and prioritize activities.
