Shipping Receiving Clerk - Bay Point

Responsibilities:
Maintain a safe work environment in a fast-paced warehouse/shipping environment
Duties include pulling and packing material and prepare shipment(s) according to delivery instructions, while following safety and quality policies and procedures.
Verify and keep records on incoming and outgoing shipments. Prepare items for
shipment. Duties include assembling, addressing, stamping, and shipping
merchandise or material; receiving, unpacking, verifying and recording incoming
merchandise or material; and arranging for the transportation of products.
Create shipping documents and sign-off as needed

Qualifications:
Education - High school diploma or GED
1 year warehouse and/or forklift experience preferred
Computer knowledge and legible penmanship
Must be able to lift up to 50lbs
Must be able to pass the forklift certification within 30 days
Must be flexible with working overtime
Must be able to work independently and follow written instructions •
