Couchbase is changing the world through data platforms, and is looking to evolve our business application footprint to support this mission. The growing team is searching for a Sr. Manager, Enterprise Systems to lead the team supporting our financial applications. The right candidate loves building and leading teams, is process oriented, has implemented and maintained financial systems, and has a customer focused mindset when interacting with stakeholders. Technologies supported include ERP (Netsuite) and other SaaS applications that interact with this core system (Coupa, Navan, RevPro, Workato, SnapLogic.)
This position will be remote, based in the United States.
Qualifications:
- 3-5 years of management experience, including mentoring and team leadership
- 7+ years of hands-on experience administering financial systems with direct experience in key areas of Netsuite including Order Management, Invoicing, and Cash Application
- Experience managing procurement software, revenue recognition software, and/or expense software. Experience with Coupa, Navan, and Zuora Revenue (RevPro) strongly preferred.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with all levels of the organization.
- Strong organization skills, effectively managing the team’s portfolio of work across multiple stakeholders.
- Strong experience with SOX compliance, including creating new controls, adhering to existing controls, and working with internal and external auditors.
- Experience managing third party vendors to deliver work.
- 4 year degree in Accounting, Business Degree or Computer Science or equivalent experience required
- Experience with integration tools such as Mulesoft, Workato, or other iPass tools to integrate using APIs is a plus.
- Experience with consumption or usage based pricing models a strong plus.
Responsibilities:
- Lead work for all financial systems at couchbase, managing internal team members and external consultants. This position will have two direct reports, and as required consultants to support work.
- Responsible for overall architecture of financial systems, and works collaboratively with peers to determine optimal architecture for cross-functional work.
- Owner for key SOX controls involving financial systems, and represents these to internal and external auditors.
- Form strong cross functional relationships with cross-functional teams to deliver solutions that drive business outcomes.
- Perform systems administration for key Finance business systems, including Netsuite, Coupa, Concur, RevPro, Avalara.
- Leverage expertise to challenge the current business process, assumptions, systems design to drive the team towards improved scalable solutions.
- Actively supports the team by removing barriers or raising issues as appropriate to move work forward. Empowers the team to innovate and deliver high-quality software solutions using agile techniques.
- Manage third party vendors as required to achieve deliverables, including appropriately escalating issues when needed.
- Lead the establishment of standards and best practices across various processes where needed.

The anticipated starting base pay range for this role is listed below. Base salary is not the only component of our competitive total rewards package - you may also be eligible for bonus, commissions, equity, and other benefits as described below. Actual compensation is influenced by a wide array of factors including but not limited to skill set, level of experience, licenses and certifications, and specific work location.
