Responsibilities:
- Determining the structure and design of web pages.
- Ensuring user experience determines design choices.
- Translate UI/UX design wireframes to actual code.
- Developing features to enhance the user experience.
- Striking a balance between functional and aesthetic design.
- Ensuring web design is optimized for smartphones.
- Optimizing web pages for maximum speed and scalability.
- Build reusable code and libraries for future use.
- Ensure the technical feasibility of UI/UX designs.
- Bridge the gap between graphic design and technical implementation.
- Turn UI/UX designs into prototypes, creating excellent interactions from designs.
- Collaborate with back-end developers and UI/UX to improve usability.
Requirements
- BS/MS degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related subject.
- 2+ years of experience as a Front-end Developer
- 1+ year of Practical Experience in REACT tools including React.js, Webpack, Enzyme Redux, and Flux.
- 2+ years of experience with JavaScript, CSS, and jQuery.
- Good knowledge of interacting with Restful API's.
- Good knowledge of browser troubleshooting and debugging practices and techniques.
- Familiarity with InVision.
- Familiarity with browser testing and debugging.
- Understanding of layout aesthetics.
- Knowledge of gitflow / source control best practices.
- Familiarity with web performance best practices.
- Knowledge of the principles & patterns of Agile software development.
